Kaur Harjot Architect

I am Kaur Harjot, and I work as an architect out of my place at H.No.1386, 3 B-Ii in SAS Nagar. It’s a residential area, so it’s relatively quiet compared to the main roads. I’ve turned part of the house into my workspace. It’s full of drafting boards, pens, and stacks of blueprints. I like working this way because it’s personal. When someone needs a house designed or a renovation done, they come over and we talk in the front room. I don’t use a lot of big words or try to impress anyone with corporate talk. Building something is a big deal for most people, and I get that. I try to make the process as simple as I can. SAS Nagar has changed so much since I started, and I’ve seen a lot of new houses go up. I handle the drawings and the planning permissions. It’s a lot of detail work that people don't always see. Sometimes I'm out at construction sites getting my shoes dirty, and other days I’m just staring at a screen. I don’t have a big staff, so I do most of the work myself. It keeps me busy. If you’re looking for someone local who knows the area and won’t give you a sales pitch, that’s me. I try to be here most days, but it’s always better to call first.
