We run our trading business out of Mohali in Punjab. It’s not a very complicated setup, just a warehouse and a small space for us to handle the orders and the paperwork. We deal with all sorts of goods, so you never really know what kind of boxes we will be moving on any given day. Some mornings are spent just making calls and checking on where the trucks are, while the afternoons are usually for loading and unloading the deliveries. Mohali is a good place to be because things are always moving and growing around here. Our office is pretty plain, with just a few desks and some old filing cabinets that have seen better days. We don’t really bother with decorating or making things look corporate because we are too busy. We just need enough room to walk around and a place to keep the paperwork straight so we don't lose anything. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, so we just open the big doors for light and keep going as best as we can. It’s just a few of us here, so we all know each other well and we don't have to worry about formal rules too much. We just show up, get the orders sorted, and make sure the items get where they are supposed to go. It is a straightforward way to earn a living and we like the routine of it most of the time.
