Jeoffrey Laboratories

Jeoffrey Laboratories is situated on the second floor of Sco- 539 in Sector -70. Being on the second floor means I have to climb a lot of stairs every single day, which definitely keeps me moving. The building is a typical commercial structure for this part of town. Sector -70 has been growing a lot lately, and there are always new things popping up around us. Our lab space is functional and a bit plain. We have a few rooms separated by thin walls, and you can often hear what is going on in the next room. The windows are large enough to let in some light, but they mostly look out over the rooftops of other buildings in the sector. It is not a very colorful place; we have mostly white walls and gray flooring that is easy to keep clean. We spend most of our time at the benches or looking at paperwork. It gets pretty quiet up here on the second floor compared to the shops on the ground level. We don't get a lot of random foot traffic, which is actually quite nice for getting work done. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we just take the stairs instead. We have a small table where we sit for lunch and talk about the news or the weather. It is just a regular office and lab setup where we show up and do our shifts without much drama or excitement.
