Jaitak Spices

Jaitak Spices is located at Shop No.89 in the Main Market area of Nangal Township. If you know where Ropar is, then you probably know how the market gets on the weekends. It is always crowded with people buying their weekly groceries and supplies. Our shop is right near the Andhra Bank, which helps people find us when they are out doing their banking chores. We have been here in this township for a good while. The shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a regular storefront with our name on it. Inside, it’s mostly filled with sacks and containers. We spend our mornings opening up the shutters and getting the dust off the counters. Working in a main market means you see a lot of different people every day. Some are just passing through Nangal Township and others have lived here their whole lives. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just sell spices and keep the shop running as best as we can. The fans hum all day and we drink a lot of tea while waiting for customers. It's a simple life here in Ropar. The bank next door is a good landmark for anyone who hasn't been to this part of the market before. We stay open until late evening when the market starts to quiet down and the street lights come on. It's just Jaitak Spices, right there in the middle of everything.
