We've been here in Issa Pur for quite some time now. Most folks in S. A. S. Nagar know where the shop is. It started as a small shed and just grew over the years. We handle the oily stuff, engines, and fixing things that break on cars. It’s loud and messy most days, but that's how it goes when you're working on motors. The tools are scattered but we know where everything is. People drop off their vehicles when they hear a weird noise or something stops working. We spend a lot of time under hoods or looking at tires. There isn't much fancy about the place. Just a lot of spare parts and grease. It gets hot in the summer, but the fans keep things moving. We usually have tea around four. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought because a bolt is stuck or a part didn't arrive on the truck. That’s just the way it is with older machines. We try to get things done so people can get back to their driving. It's a steady life here. You get to meet a lot of different people from around the district. Some bring their trucks, some have small cars. We just keep our heads down and work. If the door is open, someone is usually there tinkering with a transmission or checking a battery. It’s not a shiny showroom, just a place where things get fixed. We enjoy the work.
