Housekeepers

Housekeepers is based over at Plot Number 2263/2 in Sghs, Global Mariwala Town. We’re right in the heart of Manimajra. This isn't a big agency with uniforms and fancy cars. It's just a few of us who coordinate cleaning and maintenance for the houses around here. We started doing this because we noticed people in the new developments were struggling to find reliable help. I spend most of my day on the phone or walking between plots to check on how things are going. The office is really just a room with a table and some spare cleaning supplies. We don't have a big sign out front. Most people find us because their neighbor mentioned us. It’s a growing area, lots of construction still happening, so there is always dust everywhere. We try to keep things simple. We don't promise miracles, just a decent day's work. Sometimes someone doesn't show up and I have to go finish the job myself, which is fine. It keeps me active. We know the security guards and the local vendors pretty well. Manimajra has changed a lot since I was a kid, with all these new towns popping up. It’s a bit strange seeing all these big buildings where there used to be fields, but it’s brought more work for us, so we can't complain much about the progress or the changes to the neighborhood.
