Harchand Singh Bains Foundation

We are located at 2154-A in Sector-63 of Chandigarh. It’s a place we’ve been for a while now. The foundation is named after Harchand Singh Bains, and we try to do right by that name every day. Our office is not one of those tall buildings with glass everywhere. It’s just a regular space in a quiet part of the sector. Inside, there are a few desks, some chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of folders stacked up on shelves. We don't have a big team of people in suits. It is just a few of us who grew up around here and wanted to do something useful. Most days involve a lot of phone calls and writing things down in ledgers. We don't use much fancy software. Chandigarh is a planned city, but our daily routine is a bit more scattered than that. We take things as they come. Sometimes it is very busy and we don't even have time to finish our tea before it gets cold. Other times, it's just the sound of the ceiling fan and the occasional car passing outside. We don't have a big sign or a lobby with a receptionist. If you walk in, you'll probably just see us working. We like it that way because it keeps things simple and honest. We aren't trying to be some big corporation. We are just a local group doing what we can from our spot in Sector-63.
