Giving Tution

Giving Tution is run out of house number 889 in Phase 7 of Mohali. We are right there near the Chandigarh border. It’s a home-based thing, really. We started it because there were so many students in the neighborhood who needed a bit of extra help with their school subjects. It is not a big school or a coaching center with hundreds of benches and fancy boards. We just have a few rooms set up where kids can sit and study. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed because it’s a house, not a cold office. We talk to the parents and see what their children are struggling with. Most of the time it’s just about sitting down and going through the books slowly. Phase 7 is a good location because it’s easy for people to find us. We don't have any big flashy banners outside, just a small sign maybe so people don't get lost. We prefer it this way because it keeps the groups small and quiet. We aren't trying to build a giant brand or anything. We just like teaching and helping the local kids get better grades. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy when the sessions are changing over in the evenings, but usually, it's just the sound of pens scratching on paper and books being opened. We've been doing this for a few years now and most of our students come from the nearby streets. It's a simple life, just teaching every afternoon.
