Girdhar Ply & Paint

Girdhar Ply & Paint is based out of Sector 82 in S.A.S.Nagar. If you spend any time in this part of town, you know it’s an area that is constantly changing and growing. We have a lot of plywood stacked up high and rows of paint cans everywhere you look. It’s a bit of a dusty environment because of the wood, but that’s just part of the trade. We spend our mornings moving sheets of ply around and mixing up different colors for whoever walks in. Sector 82 is a good place for a business like ours because there is always some kind of construction or renovation happening nearby. S.A.S.Nagar has become quite busy over the years, and we’ve seen the landscape change quite a bit from our front door. We aren’t big on fancy marketing or anything like that; we just focus on keeping the inventory right. Sometimes we sit on the edge of the loading dock during our break and just watch the trucks go by. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting and carrying things, but it keeps us moving. The shop is a bit cluttered, but there is a system to the madness that only we really understand. We just try to be helpful to the people who stop by looking for supplies and make sure they get what they came for without any unnecessary talk.
