You can find Flourish Paper Chemicals Ltd. out on Barwala Road in Village Bhagwanpur. It’s a busy stretch of road near Derabassi, and there are a few other industrial spots around here too. We mostly make the stuff that paper mills need to keep their paper looking right and staying strong. It’s a lot of mixing and testing in the lab. The floor is usually covered in some kind of powder or spill, but we clean it up as we go. It’s not a quiet job. There’s always a pump running or a mixer whirring in the background. We spend a lot of time looking at test sheets and checking how the chemicals react. The weather out here can be a bit much, especially when the wind blows the dust off the road into the loading bay. We’ve got a small team, and we all pitch in with whatever needs doing, whether it’s moving bags or writing down numbers. We don't have any big corporate slogans. We just know that if the chemicals aren't right, the paper mills won't be happy, and that’s a problem for us. Most of the guys have been here since we opened. We just show up, do the mixing, check the bags, and head home. It’s a simple way to make a living, and it keeps us busy enough.
