Dcg International School

You can find us right on the Banur Ambala Highway in Shambhu Kalan. It’s a busy road, so there’s always trucks and cars passing by the front of Dcg International School. We are based in the Rajpura district area. The building is pretty easy to spot from the highway if you’re driving at a normal speed. We spend a lot of our time making sure the grounds are kept up because the wind blows a lot of dirt around this part of the country. Inside, it’s just a normal school environment with desks, chalkboards, and hallways that get a bit crowded when the bell rings. We don’t have any flashy stuff here, just the basics that work. The staff mostly comes from the nearby villages and towns around Rajpura. We’ve had to fix the roof a few times after heavy storms, but that’s just how it goes with buildings in this area. It gets quite hot in the summer, so we keep the fans going all day long. Some of the windows don't open quite right, but we make do. It’s an honest place where we just get on with the job of teaching. Parents usually drop their kids off or they come in on the buses. We know most of the families around here by name. It’s a practical setup, nothing more and nothing less.
