Chetak India

Chetak India is over in S.A.S. Nagar, specifically in the industrial area, Phase-VII. Our unit is E-117. If you’ve ever walked through Phase-VII, you know it’s all rows of similar-looking buildings and a lot of activity. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. The building is functional—it’s got a big gate and enough space for what we need. It’s not a showroom; it’s a place where things get built and packed. There’s always a bit of clutter, like empty pallets or rolls of tape, but we know where everything is. The office part is just a couple of desks pushed together in the front. We do a lot of heavy lifting and manual tasks throughout the day. Some days are faster than others depending on what we are shipping out. We usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things lively. It’s a bit of a trek to get here for some of the staff, but it’s a good community of workers in this part of town. We don’t have a lot of time for sitting around. When something breaks, we fix it ourselves. It’s just a plain, honest workspace. We focus on the daily chores and making sure the trucks get loaded correctly. It’s simple work, but it keeps us all going and we like it that way.
