Cheema Medical Complex

Cheema Medical Complex is based in Phase 4. It is quite close to the telephone exchange, which makes it a landmark for anyone trying to find us. We have a mix of different things going on here because it is a complex. People come in for all sorts of health reasons. The building has a few floors, and the stairs are a bit narrow, so we tell people to take their time. We’ve got some benches in the hallways where people sit and wait for their turn. It’s not the quietest place since there is a lot of traffic in Phase 4, especially during the day when everyone is out and about. The staff here has been around for a long time. We know the local shopkeepers and the people who live in the surrounding blocks. Sometimes we run out of chairs when it gets really crowded on Monday mornings. We don’t have any polished brochures or a big logo on the wall. It’s just a place where medical work happens. The windows look out over the street, and you can see the telephone exchange from the upper rooms. We try to keep the paperwork moving, but sometimes there’s a bit of a backup at the main counter. We use simple fans and some small air units when it gets really hot. It’s a practical setup for the neighborhood. We just focus on seeing the people who come in and getting through the daily list of names.
