Balaji General Store

You can find Balaji General Store at Shop No-6, which is right by the Main Gate of Gulmohar City in Derabassi. We are technically in the Zirakpur area, and Mubarakpur is also quite close to us. Because we are situated right at the entrance of a big residential colony, we see a lot of the families who live inside. It is a convenient spot for them to grab things on their way home or if they realize they forgot something for dinner. We carry all the usual general store items like snacks, cleaning supplies, toiletries, and some packaged foods. The shop isn't huge, but we try to pack a lot of different things onto the shelves so people have choices. It is usually quiet during the middle of the day, but then it gets really busy in the evenings when everyone is coming back from work. We spend a lot of time unpacking boxes and making sure the shelves look full. The area around Gulmohar City has grown a lot recently, so there are always new people moving in and stopping by. We don't do any big advertising; people just see our sign when they drive through the main gate. It is a simple, local business. We have a counter at the front where we handle the payments and chat with the residents. It is nice being part of the community here in Derabassi. Balaji General Store is just a regular place for regular people to get their daily stuff. We keep it open late for the commuters.
