We’re located on Barwala Road in Derabassi. It’s a pretty dusty stretch of road with a lot of heavy vehicles passing through all day long. Our building is simple, just a place for us to keep our equipment and handle the office side of things. Most days involve a lot of coordination and making sure the guys on the field have what they need. It’s not the kind of job where you sit still for very long. There’s always someone coming in or going out. We have a small table in the back where we sit and have lunch together. The conversations are usually about the weather or how the traffic on Barwala Road is getting worse every year. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters. We just write down what needs to be done on whatever scrap of paper is handy. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to bother with that. It’s a practical environment. We value being reliable more than looking polished. People around Derabassi know us as the lot who are always working on something. We don’t make a big deal out of things. We just show up, do the work, and head home to our families. It’s a straightforward way to live and we’re quite alright with that.
