Shree Sai Designer

The shop is right on the Ambala - Chandigarh Highway, and if you know where Bassi Gases is, we are just a stone's throw away from there. Being near the Sartaj Hotel makes it easier for people to find us because the highway can get a bit confusing with all the traffic zooming past all day. It’s not a very big place, just Shree Sai Designer, where we spend most of our mornings and evenings working on various projects. You can usually hear the sound of the sewing machines going or see rolls of different fabrics tucked into the corners. It gets a bit dusty because of the road being so close, so we spend a fair amount of time just keeping the place tidy. There is no big reception desk or anything like that, just a couple of chairs for anyone who drops in. We have been in this spot for a while now, and the neighbors around the highway know us pretty well. Sometimes it gets quite loud with the trucks outside, but we just get used to it after a while. Most of our day is spent looking at patterns and trying to get things finished before the sun goes down. It’s a simple setup, really. Just a local shop where we do our work and keep to ourselves. We usually have a pot of tea going in the back room if things get slow. It’s a practical space for practical work.
