We’ve been here in Village Banmajra for quite a while now. If you’re driving down the Ropar Kurali Road, you’ll see our place easily enough. It’s a busy spot, especially when the trucks are moving in and out during the morning shift. Most of the folks who work here live nearby, so there’s a lot of bicycles parked out front by 9:00 AM. The area is mostly open fields, which is nice when the weather is clear, but the road gets a bit dusty during the dry season. Inside, the setup is pretty straightforward. We handle a lot of food products, so there’s always something being loaded or unloaded. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that, just a solid building where the work gets done. We have a small canteen where the staff takes their breaks, and usually, someone is complaining about the heat or the rain depending on the month. The floors are concrete and we keep them as clean as possible because of what we handle. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping track of inventory on paper and computers. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to switch over to the generator, which makes a bit of a racket. People around here know us as the big gate on the main road. We don’t really do much advertising; we just focus on getting the daily orders out the door. It’s a simple life out here in the village.
