Vaid Aatma Ram Clinic

Being right near Shivala Soodan in the Main Bazaar means it is never really quiet outside. You can hear the scooters and the people shouting to each other all day long. Vaid Aatma Ram Clinic has been in this spot for a bit now. We open up early and the dust from the street usually comes in with the first few people who walk through the door. The bazaar has a life of its own, and we are just one small part of it. Inside, it’s a bit different than the noise outside. We try to keep things organized, but with so many people coming through, the files tend to pile up on the corner of the desk. There’s a tea stall just a few steps away that keeps us going during the long afternoons. Our sign is a bit faded from the sun, but people in the Main Bazaar know where to find us. We see a lot of familiar faces, people who have lived in this area their whole lives. Sometimes it’s just a quick chat and other times someone stays for a while. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. It’s a busy life here in the middle of everything. When the market shuts down in the evening, that’s usually when we start wrapping things up too. It’s a routine we’ve gotten used to over the years. We just stay focused on the work.
