Thukral Hospital

Down in Makhu, you will find Thukral Hospital. It is a place that many people in this small town are familiar with. We aren't a big city hospital with dozens of floors and elevators. Instead, we are a more modest building that sits right here in the heart of the community. In a place like Makhu, word travels fast, so we don't really do any advertising. People just know where we are and come by when they have a problem. The atmosphere inside is usually pretty informal. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names, and we often know their families too. The work day starts early and can go on quite late depending on who needs help. We handle all sorts of regular medical things that come up in a small town. The waiting area has some simple seating, and there is usually a bit of a breeze coming through the door. It isn't a fancy setup, but it is what we have and it works for us. We spend our days checking on patients and talking to their relatives about what they need to do at home. It is a lot of hard work, but it is just what we do here in Makhu every day. The staff is local and we all take turns making sure things are clean and ready for the next day.
