Singla Industries

Our workshop is down on Langiana Road in Baghapurana, over in the Moga district. We have been working out of this building for some time now. It’s an industrial area, so there is always noise from machines and trucks moving around the neighborhood. We mostly do manufacturing stuff here, but it's a small-scale operation compared to the big factories you see in the cities. Usually, the gates stay open during the day and there's a lot of dust from the road that drifts in. Inside, it's mostly metalwork and tools lying around on the benches. We don't have a receptionist or a big lobby; you just walk in and find whoever is working on the floor. The guys here have been doing this for years, so everyone knows their job without much talking. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait, or use the generator if the job is really urgent. It’s a bit messy, but that is how a workshop usually looks when people are actually working. We get orders from local people and sometimes from further away in Punjab. We just try to finish the work on time so the customers don't have to wait. It's nothing fancy, just a regular local business trying to stay busy and pay the bills. If you are looking for us, we are just past the main part of town on the way towards Langiana. It is a plain building but you will hear us working.
