We’re set up at the Hardial Kaur Depot, right by the Cia Staff in Nanak Nagari. The pin code is 142001. It’s a bit of a different vibe than being in the middle of Delhi, that’s for sure. The depot area is always humming with activity. We handle a lot of the logistics and local oversight for infrastructure jobs from this spot. The office itself is pretty rugged—it’s more about function than anything else. We have benches and desks that have seen better days, but they serve the purpose. Being near the Cia Staff means it’s a well-known landmark, so people don’t usually get lost trying to find us. The winters here get quite cold, and we usually have a small heater running while we go over the site reports. It’s a straight-talking kind of place. We don’t go for the corporate polish you might see in the big cities. We just deal with the realities of construction, which means a lot of mud, heavy machinery, and long days. The staff here knows the local area well, and we prefer it that way. It’s about getting the work done without making a big fuss about it. We’re just local people doing our bit for the infrastructure around Moga.
