Sidhu Mentha Oil Ltd is located at Ward No- 1 on the Main Road in Land Ke. We are right on the Gt Road, which is always humming with traffic. If you look for the Sandhu Hospital, we are just a short distance from there. The smell of mentha is something you never really get out of your clothes. It’s a very strong, sharp scent that fills the whole building and the street outside when we are processing. We have some large tanks and a lot of piping that we have to check constantly for leaks. It’s a lot of maintenance work to keep everything running right. The office is just a small room at the front with a couple of chairs and a ceiling fan that squeaks a bit. We spend a lot of time talking to the drivers who bring in the raw mint or take away the oil. Most of the guys working here have been with us for years. We eat lunch together under the shade of the trees out back when the weather allows it. It’s a noisy, smelly, and busy place but it’s our livelihood. We don't try to make it look like something it isn't. It’s a production site and it looks like one. The GT Road keeps us connected to the rest of the state, which makes shipping much easier for us during the peak season.
