Sanjeevani Hospital

You can find us near the bus stand on Amritsar Road. Being right there means there is always a lot of shouting and horns honking outside. The hospital is an old building, and it has that specific smell of cleaning supplies and medicine. We have been here for a long time, so everyone knows the spot. Since the bus stand is so close, we get people coming in from different towns who just arrived and feel unwell. The stairs are a bit narrow and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we keep everything as tidy as we can. We have a small ward for people who need to stay the night. The nurses stay busy moving between the rooms. In the middle of the day, the heat on Amritsar Road can be quite something, so the lobby usually fills up with people trying to stay out of the sun. We have a small water station near the entrance. It’s a noisy, busy place because of the location, but it’s where we work every day. The doctors have their small offices tucked in the back. We don't have much of a parking lot, so people usually just find a spot on the side of the road. It’s a practical setup for this part of the city. We don't worry much about being fancy as long as the work gets done.
