Nirmala Rice Mill

Working at Nirmala Rice Mill means being around the smell of grain and the sound of machinery most of the day. We are located at 19, G T Road in Moga, which is a very busy stretch of road. Being near the Improvement Trust Office makes it easy for people to locate where we are. The 142001 area is a hub for this kind of work. It’s a dusty place, to be honest, and there is always a truck being loaded or unloaded out front. We have been here for a long time, and the building shows its age, but it works exactly how it should. I spend my time mostly in the office or checking on the bags of rice. It’s not a clean-shirt kind of job. You’re going to get some dirt on you by the end of the shift. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. People know us because we’ve been on G T Road for years. We just focus on getting the rice processed and out the door. The summers in Moga are tough, but we keep the fans going and just get on with it. It’s a straightforward life. There aren't many surprises. We just show up, do the work, and head home when the sun goes down. It's a real place with real people doing a hard day's work. It isn't always pretty, but it gets the job done.
