Lovely Karyana Stores

Our little shop is located in Jagraon, specifically in the Zaveriwad 5 area. It’s a spot where people pass by every single day on their way to work or heading back home to their families. We keep a stock of the usual things like rice, tea leaves, spices, and soap. The space inside is a bit tight because we try to cram as much as possible onto the wooden shelves we built years ago. Often, you’ll see bags of grain sitting on the floor because we just don't have enough shelf space for everything. It’s a family effort here. We don't really bother with advertising or anything like that. Most of the people who come through the door are the same faces we’ve seen for years. If someone asks for something we don't have, we just write it down on a scrap of paper and try to get it in the next day or two. The lighting inside is a bit dim, and we really should get around to replacing those old tubes, but it hasn't happened yet. We’ve got a small refrigerator tucked in the corner for cold drinks, which is popular when it gets hot outside. It’s not a fancy place to look at from the street, just a regular neighborhood store. We handle everything with a simple cash box. If you live nearby, you know we’re here. We just keep the doors open and wait for whoever needs a few things for their kitchen.
