Jindal Hardware Store

Jindal Hardware Store is situated right inside the Old Grain Market area. We are set up at Pirthi Di Hatti, which is a spot many local people are already familiar with. If you are looking for us, just look for the Hanumanji Statue; we are quite close to it. The market is an old part of town, so the lanes are narrow and there’s always a lot of activity with people hauling goods back and forth. Our store is filled from floor to ceiling with all sorts of hardware items. It can be a bit of a maze inside, but we know every drawer and shelf. We spend a lot of time helping people find that one specific bolt or tool they need to finish a project. The atmosphere in the Grain Market is always lively, and there is a lot of shouting and talking between the shopkeepers. We have been here for a long time, and the building shows its age, but it has a lot of character. We don't use any high-tech systems to manage the shop; we mostly rely on memory and a few handwritten ledgers. Some days are slower than others, especially when it rains and the market gets muddy. On those days, we just sit on the stools and chat with the neighbors until someone comes in. It’s a very traditional way of running a store, and we are quite content with how things are.
