Get Up People Foundation

We are over on Ram Ganj Road in Moga, right at Street No 01. Amandeep Singh’s place is where we mostly operate from. If you’re familiar with Moga, you know that this area has a lot of energy. Get Up People Foundation was started because we felt like people just needed a little nudge sometimes to get things moving. We’re not a big group, just some friends and neighbors who decided to put a name on the work we were already doing. Ram Ganj Road is where we grew up, so we know every corner of it. It’s not a polished operation. Most of the time, our office is just a room with a few chairs and a lot of tea being drunk while we talk about local problems. We don’t have a big corporate strategy. We just look at what’s happening in Punjab and see where we can fit in. Sometimes it’s about helping a family, and other times it’s about fixing something small on the street. It’s all very hands-on and practical. People know they can find us here if they need something. We don't use big words or make huge promises we can't keep. We just show up and do the work that needs doing in our little part of Moga. It is about simple efforts and staying connected.
