This Dtdc Ltd. branch is located at No.58-59 in the Baldev Complex. We are right on Court Road, which is always busy. The most distinct thing about our location is that we are near the railway crossing and right inside the tempo stand. It’s a loud place. You can hear the whistles of the trains and the engines of the tempos all day long. Because we are a courier point, there are always bags and boxes piled up on the floor. We spend most of our time weighing packages, taping boxes, and writing out slips. It’s a fast-paced spot because everyone is in a hurry to get their items sent out. The office isn't very big, and with all the parcels, it can feel a bit cramped. The walls are covered with charts and rate lists. We have a steady stream of people coming in, from lawyers at the nearby court to local residents. The dust from the road tends to settle on everything, so we are always wiping down the counters. It’s a gritty, hard-working atmosphere. We don't have air conditioning, just a few ceiling fans that spin as fast as they can. We focus on getting the stacks of deliveries moved out so the next batch can come in. It’s constant movement from morning until we lock up for the night.
