Dr Pal Clinic

The Dr Pal Clinic is situated over in Ward 24, right near Bahona Chowk on Nigaha Road. This part of Preet Nagar is where I have been working for quite some time now. It’s a local clinic that mostly serves the people living in the immediate area. I chose this location because it’s right in the middle of the community. The clinic isn't very large. It’s basically just a front room for waiting and my consultation space in the back. The road outside, Nigaha Road, can get quite busy during the day, so there is always some noise from the bikes and cars passing by Bahona Chowk. I keep things very simple here. I don't have a website or any fancy gadgets for checking people in. Usually, someone just sits at the desk and writes down names as people arrive. I have a lot of regular patients who have been coming to me for years, and I know most of their family histories by heart. The walls are a bit plain and the furniture is old, but it works fine for what we need. I usually open up early in the morning and stay until the afternoon rush is over. Sometimes I come back in the evening if there are more people waiting. It’s a basic, honest place where people can come when they aren't feeling well. We just do our best to help out. Dealing with the summer heat in the clinic can be tough, but the fans help.
