Arya Hospital

People usually find us here in Ferozepur without much trouble because the building has been around for a good while. It is just a regular hospital where we spend most of our days dealing with whatever comes through the door. The morning starts early here, usually with the sound of the metal shutters going up and the smell of tea from the stall across the street. We have a few wards and some benches in the hallway that have seen better days, but they do the job for the folks waiting. It gets pretty busy around noon, and sometimes the fans in the waiting area make a lot of noise, but nobody seems to mind much. The walls are painted a plain off-white color that we try to keep clean, though the dust from the road outside always finds a way in. Most of the staff live nearby, so we know a lot of the people who walk in by their first names. It is not a fancy place with shiny floors or big screens, just a set of rooms where we look after people who aren't feeling well. We spend a lot of time doing paperwork at the old wooden desks and making sure the medicine cabinets are stocked up. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to switch things over, which is just part of life here. We just keep things moving along day after day.
