Akshay Add Media

Our place, Akshay Add Media, is on Chamber Road, right across from the HDFC Bank. It is a pretty convenient spot since everyone knows where the bank is. We deal with all sorts of media and advertising stuff, mostly physical things like signs or banners. The shop is usually full of rolls of vinyl or large sheets of board. It can be a bit messy, but we know where everything is. Working on Chamber Road means we see a lot of people passing by every day. Sometimes they stop in just to ask for directions, and that is fine. We have a couple of large printers that take up most of the room. They can be a bit temperamental when it gets too humid, so we have to watch them closely. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just us doing the work and making sure the colors don't bleed. We spend a lot of time on our feet, moving materials around or fixing the machines. The lighting in the back isn't the best, but we've got some extra lamps to help us see the fine details. It is a straightforward business without any of those big corporate slogans. We just focus on the job at hand and try to get it out the door on time. If you come by, you'll likely hear the sound of the cutters.
