Shivam Paints

Our shop, Shivam Paints, is located in Shibbanpura, right across from where Gukhanna More is. It is a busy spot in District Ghaziabad. We are also quite close to the Shri Laxmi Narayan Mandir, so you can often hear the bells or the music from the temple while we work. The street outside is always full of life, with rickshaws and people moving about. Inside the shop, it is a bit of a maze with all the paint buckets we have stacked up. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes it gets a bit messy when we are busy. The walls are lined with shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. We have to use a tall ladder to reach the stuff at the top. Ghaziabad can be quite dusty, so we have to clean the cans regularly. People come in with small pieces of cloth or old photos, trying to match a color they like. We do our best to find something that works for them. It is just a regular local shop where we work hard and talk to our neighbors. We do not have a big corporate office or anything like that. It is just us, some paint, and a lot of brushes. The fan overhead keeps us from sweating too much during the summer heat. We have been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit around the temple and the crossing. It is a good place to be.
