Ptng

Our shop is located at No. 526 on Begmanad Kasba Road. It’s a bit out of the main city center, so things are a little slower here compared to the big markets. The road outside is mostly used by local tractors and the occasional bus. It gets quite dusty when the wind picks up, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the counters and the shelves. Ptng is just a short name we use, and we’ve been here for a while now. The building is an old one-story structure with a heavy iron shutter that’s a bit hard to pull up in the morning. Inside, it’s mostly just us and the stock we keep. We don’t have a lot of walk-in customers because we’re on the Kasba Road, so most of our work comes from people who already know us. We spend the afternoon sitting on plastic chairs, waiting for the phone to ring or for a delivery to show up. There isn’t much to see around here except for some fields and other small workshops. We eat our lunch together in the back room where it’s a bit cooler. Sometimes the neighbor’s dog comes and sits by the door, and we give him some scraps. It’s a quiet way to earn a living. We don't have big plans or anything, just keeping the shop running and making sure we have what people ask for. The rainy season makes the road quite muddy, which slows everything down even more.
