Neetas Creations

Neetas Creations is located on the first floor on Gurudwara Road. We are directly opposite Ginni Devi Girls Degree College. It’s a busy spot, especially when the college students are arriving or leaving. There’s a lot of energy on this street. Our workshop is just up the stairs. It’s one big room where we do most of our designing and sewing. The light coming through the windows is pretty good in the afternoons, which helps when we’re working on smaller details. We have a couple of people helping out with the stitching and the finishing touches. It’s not a corporate office at all. You’ll see spools of thread everywhere and pieces of cloth draped over chairs. We try to keep things tidy, but when we are in the middle of a big order, it gets a bit messy. That’s just part of the process. We like being on Gurudwara Road because everything we need is close by. If we run out of something, someone can just run out and grab it. We don't have a receptionist; usually, whoever is closest to the door answers it. It’s a very direct and honest way of working. We focus on the things we make and try to get them out to people on time. It’s a humble setup but it’s ours and we’ve made it work for years. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to keep the mood light while we work.
