National Fashion

Our shop is at No. 95, tucked away in Lane No. 2 of Bank Colony. It is a quiet residential area, which is a bit different from the usual market spots in the city. We decided to stay here because it is easier for our regular customers to visit without the headache of main road traffic and parking. We do all kinds of fashion items, mostly focusing on what people in the colony need for their daily wear or small functions. The shop is a simple room with some racks and a couple of old mirrors. We don't have any bright neon signs or big advertisements outside. Just a small board with the name National Fashion painted on it. Sometimes people miss the turn into Lane 2, so we tell them to look for the big neem tree at the corner near the park. We spend a lot of time talking to the ladies from the neighborhood who come in to see if we have anything new in stock. We try to keep a mix of things, but it’s mostly simple stuff that is easy to wear. I run the place with my daughter. She helps with the newer designs while I stick to the fabrics I know best. The floor is tiled and we try to keep it clean, but with people coming in all day, it's hard to keep up. It is a small business but it keeps us busy from morning until we close at eight.
