Super Market

You can find us in Professor Colony, over in the Linepaar area of Mirzapur. We are right near the railway line, so you can hear the trains passing by every few hours. It’s a sound we’ve gotten used to over time. This shop is called Super Market, but it’s really just a place where we try to have a bit of everything for the people living in the colony. Because there are a lot of teachers and students around here, we get a mix of people coming in. Some are looking for notebooks and pens, while others want vegetables or snacks. The building is a simple structure, and we keep the doors open to let the air in. It gets quite hot in the summer, and we usually have a small fan going behind the counter. We don't have any corporate bosses or big rules. We just stock what people ask for. If a few neighbors mention they want a specific brand of tea, we try to get it next time. The shelves are a bit crowded, and sometimes you have to move one thing to see what's behind it. We spend our days chatting with the locals and watching the traffic go toward the station. It’s a busy spot but it feels like home to us. We’ve seen many students move in and out of the colony over the years. We just keep the lights on and the shelves full.
