Shiva Iron Store

Shiva Iron Store is located in the main market of Lalganj, very close to Station Road. It is a busy part of town and we have been here for a long time. The shop is filled with all kinds of iron goods, from rods to sheets. Because iron is heavy and takes up a lot of room, the shop often feels a bit crowded and dark. We have things stacked against the walls and sometimes even near the entrance. The smell of metal is something you get used to after a few days of working here. We don't have any air conditioning, just a couple of old ceiling fans that keep the air moving a little bit. We get a lot of local builders and people doing repairs coming in. Most of them have been buying from us for years. We usually sit on small stools near the front and talk to whoever comes by. It is not a fancy retail space. The floor is concrete and the walls are stained from years of moving metal around. We don't use any high-tech systems for our inventory; we just know where everything is. When the trains go by the station nearby, the whole shop vibrates a little. It is just a regular part of our day. We open early and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening.
