Sarajz Traders

Sarajz Traders is right in the middle of Kukra Mandi on Jolly Road. If you know the Mandi, you know how hectic it gets in the early morning hours with all the loading and unloading. There’s always someone shouting or a horn honking right outside the door. We’ve got a fairly basic setup here. It’s mostly just us and the goods we move back and forth. The building is older, so the walls have that aged look, and the ceiling fan wobbles a little when we turn it on high. We try to keep the place organized, but in a busy trade area like this, things tend to pile up pretty quickly. Jolly Road stays busy until late in the evening, so there is never really a dull moment. We spend most of our time on our feet, checking what came in and what needs to go out. The neighbors are mostly other traders who have been here as long as we have. We share news about the market and the weather over tea that the boy from the corner stall brings over. It isn't a place for sitting around and relaxing. There is a lot of dust from the bags and the trucks, but that’s just part of being in the Mandi. We keep the doors open to catch any breeze, though it usually just brings in more noise from the street traffic outside. We don't have fancy office chairs, just some old wooden ones that have been around since we started. Most people who come here know the drill and don't expect anything polished.
