M/S Afcons Infra Structure Ltd

Our camp is set up in Chilaviliyan village, near Adalhat in the Mirzapur district. It’s a bit out of the way, but that’s where the work takes us. Being part of the Afcons team here in Uttar Pradesh means dealing with a lot of dust and the changing seasons. The office is really just a functional space for managing the local infrastructure jobs. It’s not somewhere you’d go for a fancy meeting. We spend most of our time out on the road or at the work sites. Most of the guys here are practical, hands-on people who have been in construction for years. We don't have much time for polished presentations. We’re usually too busy worrying about the next delivery of materials or if the machines are running right. Mirzapur can be tough with the heat in the summer, but the work has to keep moving. We’ve become a bit of a fixture in the village since we arrived. People know the trucks and they know where to find us if there’s a problem. It’s honest, gritty work and we don't try to make it sound like anything else. We're just here to build the things that need building. It’s a long day usually, starting before the sun is too high and ending when we can’t see the tools anymore. No frills, just progress and the daily grind of village life.
