Out here at Gopalpur Farm, things are a bit different than the city. We are located in the Marihan tehsil, near the Kalwari post office. Running Chandralok Aromatic & Chemical Co. Pvt. Ltd. from this location means we are surrounded by a lot of open space and farm land. It’s a quiet area for the most part, except for when we have deliveries coming or going. We focus on the work at hand, which usually involves a lot of looking at vats or checking on the chemical processes we have running. It isn’t a glamorous job, but it is what we know how to do. The people who work here mostly live nearby, so it feels like a small community inside the gates. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures. We just make sure the products are handled safely and correctly. Sometimes the roads out here get a bit muddy when it rains, but we manage to keep things moving. It’s a steady pace of life. We’ve been in this district for a while, and we just keep to our own routines. The farm setting makes it a unique place to work compared to a regular factory. We just do our bit every day and then head home when the shift is over. It’s a long day, but we prefer being out here in the open air rather than in a crowded city center.
