Bundela Clinic

You can find us at B 399 in the NTPC Rihand Nagar township. We are right off National Highway 5 in Sonebhadra. It’s a very specific part of the world, mostly defined by the power plant and the workers who live around here. The clinic is part of the daily landscape for people going to and from their shifts. It’s not a bustling city street like in Lucknow or anything. Instead, it’s got that quiet, industrial feel where everyone sort of knows everyone else’s business. The building is simple and does what it needs to do. We see a lot of the same faces over and over again. The heat in Sonebhadra can be pretty intense, so the clinic is usually a place to get out of the sun for a bit while waiting. We have a few chairs and some old magazines, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint if we ever got around to it. Most people come in after the morning shift ends or before the evening one starts. It’s a functional space for a functional town. Living near the Rihand project means things are steady and predictable. We don’t do anything flashy here. It’s just about being available for the folks who live in this corner of the state. The highway is close enough that you can hear the heavy trucks rolling by at night.
