Anaya Enterprises

Our shop is L29 and we are tucked away inside the Hindalco Colony here in Renukoot. Being in a colony means we see the same faces every day, mostly workers and their families. Anaya Enterprises isn't a massive warehouse, just a regular shop where we keep the things people need. We spend the morning sweeping out the front and setting up the displays. Renukoot can be a bit quiet in the afternoons when it’s hot, so we usually take it slow then. We have a small radio that plays local songs while we work. The shelves are mostly full but sometimes we run out of stuff and have to wait for the next delivery truck to arrive. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. If someone comes in looking for something specific, we usually know exactly which box it’s in. It’s a practical way to run a business. We don't bother with big ads or anything like that. People just know us because we’ve been at Shop No. L29 for a while now. It’s a decent life and we like being part of the colony. The tea shop next door is where we spend our breaks talking about the weather or the local news. We also keep a big water cooler by the door for anyone who needs a drink while they are walking through the colony paths on their way home.
