About Amin Hospital – Medical & Healthcare in Mirzapur
Our hospital is right near the jinsi police station. It's an old building, but it does the job. You can hear the sirens and the motorbikes going by all day. We have a few wards and a small waiting area that gets quite hot in the summer months. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know each other's habits. We get a lot of people coming in from the surrounding streets. Sometimes they are just looking for directions because of the police station nearby, but usually, they need a doctor. We don't have those shiny marble floors or big TVs you see in the new city hospitals. We have sturdy benches and fans that hum. The doctors are usually busy in the back. I handle the entrance most days and see everything from kids with scraped knees to older folks who just need their blood pressure checked. It's a lot of work keeping everything clean and running. We have a small canteen nearby where we grab tea during breaks. The neighbors are good people, and they know where to find us if something happens in the middle of the night. It’s just a regular local hospital where things happen at their own pace. We try to keep the queues moving, but sometimes it takes a while when it's busy. At the end of the shift, we lock the gate and head home, ready to do it again tomorrow.
