Anjaneya Rice Industries

Anjaneya Rice Industries is situated at Sy No 323 / 326 in Yadgarpally village. If you come by during the harvest time, you will see tractors and bullock carts lined up all the way down the road. The whole place smells like raw grain and husks. It is a very busy atmosphere with the sound of the hulling machines going all day and night. We have the big yards where the paddy is spread out to dry under the sun. It takes a lot of people to keep things moving, from the laborers who carry the heavy sacks to the ones monitoring the machines. The village of Yadgarpally is a good place for a rice mill because there are so many farms around. We deal with the local farmers mostly. Some days are just filled with dust and the heat of the dryers, and your clothes end up covered in rice bran by the end of the shift. The office is just a small corner where we weigh the loads and write out the receipts by hand. It’s a lot of physical labor and keeping track of the different qualities of rice. We don't have any fancy brochures or websites. People just know where the mill is and they bring their crops here. It is an old-fashioned way of working, but it’s how things get done in this part of the country every single season.
