Surya Stones

Surya Stones is located at 1-594 in Thakkellapadu, which is part of the Miryalaguda Mandal in Nalgonda. We are right beside the Anganwadi and the old primary school. It’s a very local spot, and everyone in the village knows where we are. We deal with stones, mostly for building and construction. The yard is usually full of different types of rock and slabs. Since we are next to the school, we hear the kids playing during their breaks. It makes the day go by a bit faster. We aren't a big corporation with offices in the city. We are just here in the village, doing what we know how to do. Most of the people who work here live just a short walk away. We spend our time loading trucks and helping people pick out what they need for their yards or houses. The sun gets pretty hot out here in Nalgonda, but we have some shade where we sit and talk. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just rely on people stopping by or calling us up. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for when the heavy trucks are coming and going. We’ve been at this same spot for years and don't plan on moving. It’s just us, the stones, and the school next door. We keep the gate open from morning until the sun starts to go down. People know they can just walk in and ask questions without any fuss. It works for us.
