Siddharth Wire Industries

Our place is over in the M.I.D.C. Miraj Block, specifically at W-36 A. It’s an industrial area, so it’s pretty loud and dusty most of the time around here. At Siddharth Wire Industries, we deal with a lot of metal and heavy machinery. There is always the sound of machines running in the background, which you get used to after a few days of working here. We make different kinds of wires. It’s heavy work, and the floors are usually covered in some kind of metal shavings or grease. We spend a lot of time checking the gauges and making sure the spools are winding correctly. The sun gets pretty hot on the tin roof during the summer months, so we keep the big doors open for some air. It's a practical setup, nothing for show. We have a small office area tucked in the corner where we handle the paperwork and take orders. Most of our day is spent on the shop floor though. We’ve got a small crew, and everyone knows their job. It's not glamorous work, but it’s steady and keeps us going. Loading the trucks can be a bit of a struggle when the ground is muddy after the rains, which happens quite a bit. We just keep the machines oiled and the production moving as best as we can. It’s just how things go in the Miraj industrial block for us every single day. We stay focused on the task at hand.
