India Insulators

India Insulators is located at W 42, and we’ve been operating out of this spot for a while. It’s a straightforward setup. We handle insulators, which sounds simple but keeps us busy all day long. The shop floor is usually a bit cluttered with materials, but we know where everything is. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of offices, just this one place where we do our work. Most days involve cutting, shaping, or checking parts. We have a small team here. Some of us handle the technical bits while others pack things up. W 42 isn't hard to find if you're in the neighborhood. We try to keep things moving so customers aren't waiting too long. It’s a lot of manual work and paying attention to small details. Sometimes the machinery acts up, and we have to spend the afternoon fixing it instead of producing, but that’s just how it goes. We don’t spend much time on fancy decorations or making the place look like a showroom. It’s a workshop, through and through. There’s usually coffee brewing in the corner and a radio playing somewhere. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay organized. If you need someone who knows their way around an insulator, we’re usually here from early morning until the sun goes down. It's a steady life and we like the routine. We've got a few benches for the guys to sit on during lunch, and we mostly just talk about the work or the cricket scores.
