Katte Traders

Katte Traders is based out of Block No. N 9 in the Kupwad MIDC area. This is part of Miraj, down in the Sangali district. Being in an industrial zone means our surroundings are mostly other warehouses and factories. It’s a busy part of the region, with lots of trucks coming in and out of the MIDC gates at all hours. We’ve been operating from this block for a good stretch of time. Our daily routine is pretty set. We arrive, check the stock, and handle whatever orders have come in through the phone or from people stopping by. The tea stall down the road is where we usually go when things get too quiet or too hectic. It’s a good place to hear what else is happening in the other blocks of the MIDC area while we take a breather. It’s a dusty place because of all the movement outside, but we try to keep our workspace organized. We aren't a corporate office with suits and ties. We wear work clothes and we aren't afraid to get our hands dirty when we need to move stuff around. Life in Sangali is steady, and working in Kupwad gives us a good sense of the local economy. We see the same drivers and delivery people every week. It’s a community of workers out here. We don't spend money on big advertisements or fancy brochures. We just do our business, pay our bills, and come back.
