Shiva Art

If you find yourself in Bhayandar East, you might come across our shop. We are at Shop Number 3 in the A Wing of Sita Vihar, right on Goddev Phatak Road. It’s a busy street, and things can get pretty crowded during the peak hours. Our space is small and filled with the smell of paint and materials. We’ve been here for a good number of years now. It’s not a polished gallery or anything like that. It’s a working shop where things actually get made. We have brushes in jars and half-finished projects leaning against the walls. We spend most of our time here, just doing the work. The light coming through the front door is usually enough to work by during the day. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know what we’re doing. We get to know the people who live and work around Sita Vihar. We share news and the occasional cup of tea with the other shopkeepers nearby. It’s a very local way of living. We don't use any marketing tricks to get people inside. They see the name Shiva Art and they come in if they need something done. We try to be as practical as possible. Sometimes the work takes longer than expected, but we don't like to rush things. We just keep at it until it’s finished properly. It is just a normal, everyday shop. We are usually here from morning until the sun goes down.
