D. Patel & Co.

You will find D. Patel & Co. over at 3/11 in the Patil Bros. Industrial Estate. It is situated on Balaram Patil Road in Bhayandar East. This part of town is always on the move, and the estate itself is usually packed with trucks and people loading stuff. Our unit is just a practical workspace where we handle our daily orders. There is no big office or fancy lounge for guests, just a small desk in the corner where we keep the bills and logs. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to worry about how the place looks. Most of our neighbors are also in the industrial line, so there is a constant background of hammers and engines. We have been based here for a long period, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the estate. Sometimes the electricity cuts out for an hour or so, and we just use that time to grab some tea outside. It is not always easy working in such a crowded area, but it’s where we have our roots. We focus on getting the tasks finished without any unnecessary fuss. Our sign outside has faded quite a bit from the sun over the years, but most people know where we are anyway. We just keep our heads down, do the work that comes in, and try to make sure everything is sorted by the end of the shift.
